About Old Dog Upholstery
Nick attended WYO TECH in 1985 and received his certificate in Auto Upholstery. He worked at paint/body shops, mechanic shops, and CarQuest for 17 years, managing it for 5 of those years. Nick did auto upholstery on the side until opening up his own shop with his wife, Merilee, on November 15, 2021. Nick has a deep love for all aspects of the automobile. Merilee has years of management experience and is happily learning about cars.

Our vintage BMW didn't need reupholstering (the original owner used seat covers - he even had a new set for us) but he was a big guy and the drivers seat was completely broken-down inside. This made driving the car far less fun than it should be.
Old Dog removed the seat and the existing upholstery and completely rebuilt the seat framework, then reinstalled the existing upholstery; you can't tell anything's been done to the seat - until you sit in it! Then it's night-and-day; you don't feel like you're sitting in a bucket but in a proper seat, which makes the driving experience what it should be for this car.
